Some news reports sounded shocked, Eric Ferguson on WTMX in Chicago might have visions of TV hosting in his head now that he won a chance to co-host with Kelly Ripa, but in any case Regis Philbin announced he will be retiring at the end of the summer bringing an end to, well, making fun of Regis.
